Dr Lucy Cowper and Dr Joe White, co-directors of Limitless Psychology and educational psychologists, have specialist interests in neurodiversity, autism, masking, assessment, and emotional wellbeing.

Dr Lucy Cowper
Dr Lucy Cowper is an educational psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Before qualifying as an educational psychologist, Lucy worked as an assistant psychologist for a local authority and spent time teaching English as a foreign language in China. Lucy holds a Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.
Lucy is passionate about supporting children and young people in a respectful, strengths-based, and neuro-affirming way. Her professional interests focus on autism and masking, emotional wellbeing, cognitive assessment, and literacy needs such as dyslexia.
Lucy has a special interest in neurodiversity and has trained in the administration of both the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (ADI-R). She is also trained to administer AIM3 assessments.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys playing board games, walking her Bernese Mountain Dog, and playing video-games.
Dr Joe White
Dr Joe White is also an educational psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and holds chartered status with the British Psychological Society.
Before qualifying as an educational psychologist, Joe worked as a teacher in a large, three-form entry primary school in Greater Manchester. Joe holds a Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology, an MSc in Psychology, a PGCE in Primary Education, and a BA (Hons) in English Literature.
Alongside his work with Limitless Psychology, Joe operates a private educational psychology practice and works with a range of educational settings, including primary schools, specialist secondary settings, and multi-academy trusts.
Joe also has a special interest in neurodiversity and has trained in the administration of both the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (ADI-R). In his capacity as an educational psychologist with a specialism in neurodevelopmental assessment, he works on two diagnostic pathways.
In addition, Joe is also trained to administer AIM3 assessments and has undertaken training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (Level 1).
Away from work, Joe spends time with his family, including his son, and socialising with his friends.
