2. Definitions
- "We", "us", "our" — Limitless Psychology.
- "You", "your" — the person using our website, Web App, products, or services.
- "Site" — limitlesspsy.co.uk and any subdomain or page under it.
- "Web App" — the digital School Masking Scales tool available at cards-app.html, accessible to active subscribers.
- "Card pack" — the physical School Masking Scales printed card pack available for preorder.
- "Subscription" — a recurring paid plan (Monthly £4 or Annual £40) granting access to the Web App.
- "Order Confirmation" — the email we send to confirm we have accepted your order for the card pack and that a binding contract has been formed.
3. Your account
To use the Web App you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
- Keep your password secure and not share your account.
- Let us know promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access.
One account is intended for one person. You may not share login credentials with others; doing so may result in account suspension.
4. Web App subscription
4.1 Plans and pricing
- Monthly: £4 per month, recurring monthly until cancelled.
- Annual: £40 per year, recurring annually until cancelled (approximately 17% saving vs paying monthly).
Prices are in GBP and include any applicable VAT.
4.2 Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
4.3 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time via the "Manage billing" link on your welcome page (welcome.html), which takes you to Stripe's customer portal.
- Monthly: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. You keep access until that date.
- Annual: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 12-month period. You keep access until that date.
4.4 Refunds on subscriptions
Subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has begun, except where required by law (for example, if we have failed to provide the service or have breached these terms in a material way). If you believe you are entitled to a refund, email info@limitlesspsy.co.uk and we will respond within seven days.
4.5 Fair use of the photo-import feature
The "Import from photo" feature uses AI to identify card placements. To prevent runaway third-party costs and to ensure the service stays available to all subscribers, each user is limited to a daily cap of imports (currently 3 per day, subject to change). We may adjust this cap with reasonable notice.
4.6 Changes to plans or pricing
We may change subscription plans or pricing from time to time. For existing subscribers, any price increase will not apply until your next renewal, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email.
4.7 Service licence (team accounts)
Organisations such as schools, clinics, and small teams can buy a Service licence at £100/year, which provides up to 10 individual user accounts under a single licence and a single bill. The person who buys the licence is the "licence holder" and manages the user accounts.
The licence holder can invite people to take up a user account (up to the 10-account limit) and can remove a person from the licence at any time. A user account that is in use, or that has a pending invitation, counts towards the limit; removing a person or a pending invitation frees the user account again. Each person needs their own account and is bound by these terms. Accounts on a licence are for the named individuals using them and must not be shared.
The licence is billed annually via Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled, on the same cancellation and refund terms as individual subscriptions above. If the licence holder cancels, or the licence otherwise lapses, access for all accounts under that licence ends at the end of the period already paid for.
5. Card-pack preorder
5.1 What you are buying
The printed School Masking Scales card pack is currently available at £20 — a 20% summer discount from the standard £25 price. Because cards are ordered ahead of dispatch, this is treated as a pre-order for the purposes of your cancellation rights below. Cards are scheduled for printing and dispatch in the first week of September 2026; this date is an estimate and may shift slightly if production timelines change. If a significant delay arises, we will email you.
5.2 Pricing and payment methods
All prices on the site are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT. Delivery charges (if any) are calculated and shown to you at checkout before you confirm your order.
Payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. At checkout you can typically pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any other method Stripe makes available on the day. We do not see or store your card details — Stripe processes all payments directly.
We may change our prices from time to time, but any change will only apply to future orders; orders you have already placed will not be affected.
5.3 Your order and our confirmation
When you submit an order on the checkout, you are making us an offer to buy the cards. A binding contract between you and us is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation by email. If for any reason we cannot accept your order, we will tell you in writing and refund any payment we have taken.
Your Order Confirmation will include:
- Your order number.
- A description of what you have ordered, and the quantity.
- The total price you have paid (including VAT and any delivery charge).
- The shipping address and method.
- An estimated dispatch or delivery date.
Ownership of the cards passes to you once we have received payment in full and dispatched the order.
5.4 Shipping and delivery
UK postage and packaging is free. International postage is charged at a flat rate calculated at checkout based on destination. We currently ship to the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. If you are outside these countries and would like to place an order, please contact us at info@limitlesspsy.co.uk and we will let you know whether we can help.
If you are ordering from outside the United Kingdom, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, or handling fees imposed by the destination country. Any such charges are not included in the price you pay us or in the shipping fee charged at checkout, and they are your responsibility as the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot tell you in advance what they will be — please check with your local customs office before ordering if you are unsure. We are unable to refund import duties or taxes, and any order that is refused at customs or returned to us because such charges were not paid will be handled in line with your cancellation rights set out above.
We aim to dispatch orders promptly once the cards are printed. After dispatch, your cards become your responsibility from the point they are delivered to the address you gave us.
If your order is significantly delayed beyond the timescale we communicated to you, you have the right to set us a new reasonable deadline; if we miss that deadline, or if delivery by a specific date was essential to you and you told us so when placing the order, you may cancel and receive a full refund for any cards not yet delivered. We will not be responsible for delays caused by you providing an incorrect address, by customs or postal-service issues outside our control, or by any other event covered in section 12 (Events outside our control).
5.5 Variations in colour, packaging, and dimensions
We take care to represent the cards accurately on the site, but please be aware:
- Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting, and printing variability.
- Packaging design may change from the images shown on the site.
- The exact dimensions and weight of the cards may vary slightly between print runs.
These variations are normal for printed goods and do not entitle you to reject the cards under the faulty-goods provisions below. If a variation is significant enough that the cards are not as described, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (see section 5.7) apply in full.
5.6 Your right to cancel within 14 days (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you are a consumer (i.e. buying not for business purposes), under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a right to cancel your preorder within 14 days of placing the order — or, if the goods have already shipped, within 14 days of receiving them — for any reason, without giving us cause.
To cancel, email info@limitlesspsy.co.uk with your order details before the deadline. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back (if already shipped), or within 14 days of cancellation (if not yet shipped), using the same payment method you used at checkout. Return postage is at your expense unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
5.7 Faulty, damaged, or incorrect cards (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If your cards arrive faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, your statutory rights apply as follows:
- Within 30 days of delivery — you may reject the cards and receive a full refund.
- After 30 days but within six months — you may ask us to repair or replace the cards. If repair or replacement is not possible, or fails, you may either keep the cards and request a partial refund to reflect the fault, or reject the cards and receive a refund.
- After six months — your statutory rights continue for the cards' expected lifespan. If you exercise the right to reject after this point, we may reduce the refund to account for the use you have already had from them.
These rights do not apply where the issue arises from misuse, accidental damage caused by you, normal wear and tear, or where we made you aware of the issue before purchase.
To raise a claim, email info@limitlesspsy.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue (photos help). We will cover return postage where the cards are faulty or not as described.
5.8 Refunds
Where you are entitled to a refund under any of the provisions in this section, we will:
- Process the refund within 14 days of agreeing it (or, where you are returning cards, within 14 days of receiving them back).
- Refund you using the same payment method you used at checkout.
- Include the standard delivery charge you paid where appropriate — for example, in full where the goods are faulty; the standard delivery rate only on a change-of-mind cancellation under section 5.6.
6. Consultation services
If you book a consultation with Limitless Psychology (typically with both Dr Lucy Cowper and Dr Joe White as HCPC-registered educational psychologists), separate terms apply to that engagement. Those terms cover scope of work, fees, cancellation, confidentiality, and professional regulation under HCPC and BPS guidance. They will be provided to you before the consultation begins.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, accounts, or systems.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Web App, the card pack, or any related content without our prior written permission.
- Scrape, harvest, or extract bulk data from the site.
- Upload material to the photo-import feature that contains identifiable images of children other than those you have appropriate consent to upload, or that infringes any third party's rights.
- Use the service in a way that is misleading, fraudulent, or harmful to others.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these rules.
7.1 Viruses and unauthorised access
You must not knowingly introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or any other malicious or technologically harmful material to the site. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the servers it runs on, or any database or service connected to it. Doing so may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990; we will report any such breach to the relevant law-enforcement authorities and co-operate with them by disclosing your identity.
7.2 Linking to our site
You may link to our home page, provided the link is presented in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or suggest any endorsement or association where none exists. You must not frame our site within another site, and you must not link in a way that implies a relationship between us and you that does not exist. We may withdraw permission to link at any time on reasonable notice.
8. Third-party links and resources
Our site contains links to third-party websites and services — for example, the Stripe checkout pages, the Supabase login, and links to our sub-processors' privacy policies on our privacy page. These links are provided for your convenience and do not imply our endorsement of those third parties or any content on their sites. We have no control over the content of third-party sites or services, and we accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage you may suffer through using them.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the site and in the Web App — including the School Masking Scales framework, card statements, illustrations, written material, code, and visual design — is owned by Limitless Psychology or its licensors (including illustrator Amy Hughes, who retains rights to her artwork). It is protected by UK copyright and other intellectual property laws.
When you buy the card pack or hold an active Web App subscription, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the resource for the purposes for which it is intended — that is, supporting conversations with children and young people about school masking in your professional, educational, or family role. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publish the card statements, illustrations, or app content outside your own legitimate use.
- Create derivative works (translations, adaptations, screen recordings shared publicly, etc.) without our prior written permission.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.
10. No clinical advice; disclaimer
The information on this site — including service descriptions, articles, and any guidance materials — is provided for general information only and is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. Although we take reasonable care to keep the site up to date, we make no warranty that the content is complete, accurate, or current. You should obtain appropriate professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from taking, any action on the basis of the content.
In particular, the School Masking Scales are an educational and reflective resource designed to support adults in having conversations with children and young people. They are not a clinical diagnostic tool, do not provide a diagnosis, and are not a substitute for professional educational psychology, mental health, or medical assessment.
The clinical-style report produced by the Web App is a structured summary of the responses entered. It is intended as a discussion aid; any conclusions drawn from it are the responsibility of the trained professional using it.
While we have taken care in designing the framework, we cannot guarantee that the resource is suitable for every child, setting, or situation. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use the resource with the children and young people in your care.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any liability which cannot be excluded or limited by UK law.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always meet your specific requirements.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or in connection with your use of the service or these terms is limited to the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data.
This clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
12. Events outside our control
We will not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these terms if the failure or delay is caused by an event outside our reasonable control. This includes (but is not limited to) strikes, lock-outs, or other industrial action; failure of public or private telecommunications networks; postal-service disruption; supplier or printer delays; the acts, decrees, or regulations of any government; fire, flood, or storm; pandemic or epidemic; and acts of terrorism or war.
If such an event happens, we will:
- Contact you as soon as is reasonably possible to let you know;
- Take all reasonable steps to minimise the delay; and
- Inform you when the event is over and the service or order can resume.
Where the event continues for more than one month, either you or we may cancel the affected contract. If you cancel, we will refund any sums you have already paid for goods or services we have not yet provided.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. For material changes that affect your rights (such as a change to subscription pricing or cancellation policy), we will give you reasonable advance notice — typically by email to your registered address — at least 30 days before the change takes effect, so you can decide whether to continue using the service.
14. Assignment
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation — for example, if Limitless Psychology incorporates, restructures, or transfers part of its business to a successor entity. If this happens, we will tell you in writing and your rights under these terms will not be affected.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else without our prior written agreement.
15. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. You can close your account by emailing us, or by cancelling your subscription via the Stripe customer portal.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or use the service in a way that is harmful to us, other users, or third parties. Where reasonable, we will give notice before doing so.
On termination, any rights to use the Web App or restricted content end, but accrued obligations (such as outstanding payment, or our liability under sections 10 and 11) survive.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer and entitled to bring proceedings in your country of residence under applicable consumer-protection law.
Before bringing any formal claim, we ask that you contact us at info@limitlesspsy.co.uk so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
17. Contact
For any question about these terms, or to give notice required under them, email info@limitlesspsy.co.uk.
